Beverly Jolley

Beverly Mae Jolley, 77, died at her home in Port Orchard on December 5, 2008.  She was born May 20, 1931 in Nortonville, ND to Harold Neal & Eva Mae (Berg) Jordan.  She graduated from Bremerton HS in 1949 and married Joseph Eber Jolley on January 1, 1950 in Bremerton.  Beverly worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 15 years, retiring in 1973.  Her most important career was helping to raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was the best cook and enjoyed canning, farming, gardening and crossword puzzles.  She took care of wild and domestic animals, and loved her cats "Boinkin", "Scooter", & "Sasquatch" and her dogs "Rebel & "Max".    She was preceded in death by sisters Lucille Jordan, Lorraine Wiese, Betty Wright, Geraldine Thompson, Arlene Schultz and brothers Jasper, Maxwell, Everald, Leroy, Loren & Larry Jordan; and nieces Jacqueline Griffin & Patricia Wright and nephew Curtis Wright.  Surviving are husband Joseph; son Michael Joseph Jolley; daughters Sharon Denise  Weber  (Dave Hult), Nita (Pete) Klinger, Donna Gay Jolley; grandchildren Chay (Doreen) Klinger, Chad (Mica) Klinger, Kenneth Shattuck, Ronald Weber, Joshua Weber; great-grandchildren Tristan, Gavin, Isabel & Shayna Klinger and Katelynn Shattuck. Memorial service at 1:00 pm on December 27, 2008 at First Lutheran Community Church on Mitchell Road in Port Orchard.
