Bill Burgess

Bill Burgess of Port Orchard, Washington died of natural causes at Tacoma General Hospital on September 27, 2004. he was 54. He was born March 27, 1950 in Seattle, Washington to Wendell and Rose (Perelli) Burgess. Bill graduated from Evergreen High School in Seattle, Washington in 1968. He worked as a warehouseman for 15 years; and, worked in maintenance at refineries (petroleum) in Anacortes and Ferndale for 10 years. Bill was an avid fisherman; loved to play baseball; loved outdoors camping and landscaping; enjoyed cooking; loved swimming. Bill was a Jehovah's Witness. He is survived by his fiance' - Joy Bayliss; mother - Rose Burgess of Port Orchard; sons - Martin Burgess of Port Orchard, Marshall Burgess (& wife, Rachel) of Port Orchard, Matthew Burgess (& wife, Andrea) of Hillsboro, Oregon; daughter - Mandy Talley of Washington, D.C.; brother - Rockie Burgess (& wife, Ute) of Des Moines, Washington; sister - Sandy Hutto of Port Orchard; grandchildren (3): Audrey Burgess, Wendy Burgess, Tyler Burgess. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2004 at Kingdom Hall, 1901 SE Bielmeier Rd., Port Orchard, Washington.
