Mr. Dennis Lee Lang was born March 8, 1957 to Donald and Geraldine Lang in Rapid City, South Dakota. He passed away December 25, 2006 in Foley, Alabama. He grew up in Crown Point, Indiana. While in high school, he was a member of the National Honor Society. He graduated from Purdue University with a mechanical engineering degree. Upon graduation, Dennis worked for General Dynamics Corporation building and modifying our nations nuclear submarines at Groton, CT, Bangor, WA, and Bremerton, WA, until the time of his death. He was an avid gardener, golfer and reader. Mr. Lang is survived by his wife, April Lang, of Manchester, WA; his parents, Don and Jerry Lang of Orange Beach, AL; his ninety-six year old grandmother, Dolly Lang of Parkers Prairie, MN; three brothers, Mark Lang of Lowell, IN, Keith (Lori) Lang of Warsaw, IN, and Glenn Lang of Cedar Lake, IN; sister-in-law, Linda (Jack) Ecklund of Port Orchard, WA, Marta (Ken) Chandler of Mankato, KS, John (Janet) Merrill of Mankato, KS, and Nila Eilert of Kansas; seven aunts and uncles; twenty-two nieces and nephews; numerous other family members and friends who will sorely miss his parting. A Memorial Service will be held for Mr. Lang on Friday, December 29, 2006 at 10:00AM at Orange Beach United Methodist Church, Orange Beach, AL.
