Don Sullivan, retired pastor of the Seventh-day Adventist Church passed away August 19th, 2014. Born in Omaha, NE to Anna E. and Michael Sullivan on October 10, 1930 he was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, and friend to all, who served his God and Church for 50 years. His ministry took him and his family to New Mexico, Texas, California, Hawaii and 11 years in South America - Bolivia, Peru and Chile. He married his school sweetheart, Dorothy Lair in 1950 in North Platte, NE. Don and Dorothy retired in Port Orchard, WA in 2004.
Pastor Sullivan was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and a brother, and 2 grandchildren. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Dorothy, 3 sons, David (LaNell), Kim Alan (Jerri), Mark (Celeste) and a daughter Jolene (Steve) DeVries, sister-in-law, Marge Sullivan, 15 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, and one on the way.
Memorial services will be held on October 4th at 4pm at the Port Orchard Seventh-day Adventist Church with a reception following. Learn more at
