Frank Lambert

March 12, 1920 — January 6, 2007

Frank H. Lambert, long time resident of Le Grand, CA, and currently of Port Orchard, WA, went on his final ride on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at the age of 86 at the Naval Hospital in Bremerton, WA. Frank was born March 12, 1920 in Eggbend, LA. He was a World War II decorated veteran who served for over 26 years in the United States Army, Army Air Corp, and later the United States Air Force. Frank loved and raised horses all his life. He was a member of the Scottish Rites Lodge in Stockton, CA, and the Oregon Military Masonic Lodge. He was a Past Member of the Crescent Arabian Horse Club and a 10 year member of the Le Grand, California Municipal Advisory Council. Frank is survived by his long time wife and best friend Maria Lambert, of Port Orchard, WA; sons John (Kimiko) Lambert and their children Hannako and Heidi of Port Orchard, Damien Lambert of New Orleans, LA, and step son, Stanley (Clarice) Rachael and family of Lake Charles, LA; sister, Gastry Norman and family; Uncle Rufus Lambert and family of Alexandria, LA; and his constant companion Mr. Fu. He will be missed by all. A ceremony honoring Frank's life will be held at Rill's Life Tribute Center, 1151 Mitchell Ave, Port Orchard, WA 98366 on Tuesday, January 16, 2007, 4:00PM with full military honors.
