Glenn A. Heath, Jr., 78, a resident of Port Orchard, died at Kitsap Hospice Center in Bremerton of natural causes on May 29, 2009. He was born August 12, 1930 in Seattle to Glenn and Jeannie (Wyatt) Heath, Sr. He married Nona Layton in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho on May 23, 1975. He was preceded in death by his step-daughter Karen Bray and granddaughter Teresa Burnham. Glenn served his country from 1950 to 1954 through the duration of the Korean War in the United States Navy. After his tour of duty in the Navy, he worked as a Rigger at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard from 1954 to 1967 and then as a groundskeeper for the South Kitsap School District, retiring in 1992. He enjoyed camping and fishing. He is survived by his loving wife Nona; son Terry Heath of Lakebay; daughter Michelle Crawford of Ellensburg; 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
