Jennifer L. Dahlke, 65 of Port Orchard, Washington, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on March 26, 2014 after her battle with cancer.
Jennifer was born to Joseph and Mona Trudeau on February 27, 1950 in Crookston, Minnesota. She graduated from Grand Forks High School in 1968. She was a long time communicant member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Port Orchard.
Her past employment included Bethany Lutheran Church secretary, a clerk at Ben Franklin in Port Orchard, a secretary in a State Farm Insurance Office and as a Loan Processor assistant for a Chase Bank office.
She married David Dahlke on January 28, 1972 and they had three children; Tressa (Scott) of Columbia, South Carolina, Guy of Tukwila, Washington and Michelle (Hiep) Bui of Edmonds, Washington.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Cherie. In addition to her husband and children, she is survived by her brothers Alan (Jan) of Silverdale, Dan (Debbie) of Manchester and Joseph (Julie) of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho; nine grandchildren Matthew, Alyssa and Nathan Shields, and Lauren, Alexis, Mia, Gabrielle, Violet and Sabrina Bui; along with numerous nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles.
Jennifer’s family would like to thank Hospice for the care that they provided her and for all those who kept her and her family in their thoughts and prayers.
A memorial service will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church on April 5th at 11 :00 am. Memorial donations may be made to the Bethany Lutheran Church’s Ladies Guild for the Chrismon project and/or the Franciscan Hospice.
