Jeremy Thomas Bethel, 29 of Port Orchard, Washington, died on April 8, 2005 at Blake Island, Washington. He was born on September 24, 1975 in Tampa, Florida to Michael & Sandra (Wescott) Bethel. Jeremy graduated from South Kitsap HIgh School in 1993 and attended ITT Technical School in Seattle, Washington. He worked for 2 years as a Pipefitter in Shop 90, at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington. He was previously employed at the Kitsap County Public Works. Jeremy was a member of the Mopar Car Club. He was an enthusiastic Seattle Seahawk/Tampa Bay Buccaneer football fan. He was an avid fisherman and liked participating in fishing derby's. He enjoyed karaoke, golfing, working on automobiles, waterskiing, and spending time with family and close friends. Jeremy enjoyed playing pinochle,a good hand of Texas Holdem, one -handed pool playing, and adding to his large sword collection. Surviving are his mother Sandra Bethel of Gig Harbor, Washington; father Michael Bethel of Port Orchard; two grandmothers; one great-grandmother; aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. Memorial service will be at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard on Friday, April 15, 2005 at 3:00 pm. A potluck reception will follow at the Port Orchard Yacht Club, 201 Bay Street, Port Orchard. Memorial donations may be made to Big Brother's.
