Keith Richard Parker of Silverdale, Washington died in Washington in 2005 due to a heart attack. He was 58. He was born in 1946 in Texas to Kermit Parker and Helen Parker. Keith married Sharon Parker in 1970 in California. He graduated from high school in Sonoma, California in 1965; and, graduated from University of the Pacific in 1970. Keith served in the U.S. Air Force from 1970 - 1974 as E5. He received the National Defense Service Medal and the Air Force Good Conduct Medal. He worked 30 years, 6 months as a mechanical engineer at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Keith enjoyed model railroading; was Union Representative for the Handicap at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard; was very involved with his church, Faith Episcopal Church in Kingston, Washington. He was a member of the Episcopal Church. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Jeanne Parker of Washington; father - Kermit Parker of Washington; sons - Steven Parker of Washington, Karl Parker of Washington; daughter - Cynthia Parker of Washington; sister - Linda Kalvin of Washington; 2 grandchildren (Austin Parker, Alyssa Parker). Visitations will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington on January 19, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and January 20, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Christian Life Center in Port Orchard, Washington on January 20, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Parker Revocable Living Trust at any branch of Frontier Bank for the for the funding of Faith Episcopal Church, A.D.A. and the Perpetual Scholarship Fund at the University of the Pacific.
