Lisa Marie Hart

Lisa Marie (Smith) Hart, 49, died at her residence in Port Orchard on January 11, 2013. She was born April 30, 1963 in Tacoma to Marvin & Martha (Ferris) Smith. She married Wilbur “Billy” Hart on September 26, 1987 and he preceded her in death in 2011.

Lisa was a homemaker and a fun loving good humored free spirit. She had a big heart, especially for her feathered and furry four legged friends. She loved her horses, birds, cats, and her best companions her dogs. Lisa’s life centered around her family, especially her kids and “Billy”, her soulmate. Supporting her daughter M’Leah with dance/drill team & DECA and her son Kaleb with T’Ball & Karate. They spent a lot of time four wheeling, boating and drag racing, which was a family passion that put them all behind the wheel. Lisa loved to shop, scrapbook, sew, crochet and spend time in the garden with her roses. She also enjoyed working with Party Lite products that adorned her home. You could always smell the sweet fragrance of the candle she had burning that day. Lisa’s favorite place was Disneyland as it was the place where it was okay for adults to be kids. Lisa would never hold anything back and made sure she voiced what she had on her mind or what she thought. This made her a special unique person that you could always count on to give you an honest response. So, those of us that knew her know that she is watching over us and will make sure we stay on a straight path.

Surviving are son Wilbur "Kaleb" Hart of Port Orchard; daughter M’Leah Stone of Gig Harbor; mother Martha Smith of Gig Harbor; sisters Cheryl (Stuart) Fallon and LeaAnn (Marty) Peterson, both of Gig Harbor and Phyllis (Roger) Wheeler of Tacoma; grandchild Logan Stone. She was preceded in death by her father Marvin E. Smith.
