Marvin Leo Pulley

Marvin Leo Pulley, 69 of Port Orchard, died in Gig Habor, WA on April 29, 2013. He was born January 31, 1944 in Provo, UT to Leo & LaRue (Hunter) Pulley. He married Josefina Gustilo in Olongopo, PI on May 15, 1970.

Marvin retired after 21 years in the U. S. Navy, retiring as an E-6. He earned the Vietnam Service Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Navy & Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and various other awards.

He loved his pets Tina, Bogie & Chikito; fishing and traveling in his RV and really enjoyed Rimrock and Yuma, Arizona. He was a member of the Eagles, VFW, and American Legion Clubs.

Surviving are wife Josefina; sons Robert (Leticia) Pulley of Puyallup, WA and Jimmy Pulley of Port Orchard; daughter Alicia (Nelson) Oconer of San Diego, CA; brother Ronald (Kathrine) Pulley of Orem, UT; sister Beth (Chad) Hales of Orem, UT, grandchildren Kevin, Haley, Alex, Courtney, Whitney Pulley and Nelson & Marissa Oconer; and best friends Leo Jolley and Primotivo Dequilla.

Celebration of Life Service 2pm Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Rill’s Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, WA. Inurnment with Military Honors will follow at Sunset Lane Memorial Park. Online memorial www.rill.com
