Patricia Joanne Hovde

Patricia Hovde—Born October 17, 1932 in Aitkin Minnesota to Arthur and Eleanore Degnan. Died January 14, 2017 in Gig Harbor. Patricia graduated from South Kitsap HS in 1950. She married her high school sweetheart Clarence Hovde on June 26, 1954. Patricia worked for Puget Sound Power and Light Co. retiring as a Customer Service Engineer. Patricia was a member of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church where one of her roles was serving as a Eucharistic minister. Her favorite activities included trips to the Oregon Coast, taking her grandchildren to Disney movies, attending grandchildren’s sporting events, Puget Power retiree’s luncheons and cheering for the Mariners. Patricia is survived by her children Dan (Karol) Doug (Kristi) Sandy Buchanan (Dan) grandchildren Ashley and Zachary Buchanan, Ellen, Drew, Josh and Kacy Hovde, brothers Lance, Bruce, Thomas and Dennis.
