Adah Hughes

Adah Matilda Hughes, 97, died at her residence in Everett, Washington on April 1, 2000.  She was born on November 26, 1902 in Newkirk, Oklahoma to Henry H. & Matilda (Rowe) Atkins and was raised in Kansas.  Adah married Charles B. Hughes who preceded her in death in 1977.  Mrs. Hughes was a homemaker.Surviving are sons Charles Hughes, Jr. of Marysville, Washington, Bobby Joe Hughes of Orting, Washington, Bill Hughes of Selah, Washington, and Michael Hughes of Milbrae, California; a brother in Kansas; 7 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.Visitation and a reception will be held at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard from Noon to 1pm on Thursday, April 6, 2000 with a Graveside Service immediately following at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard.
