Adell Rauch died of emphysema May 3, 2003, at her Port Orchard, Washington residence. She was 61.She was born October 24, 1941, in Anguilla, Mississippi to Jackson and Ila Mae (Ray) Allen.She graduated from Sedro Woolley High School in Sedro Woolley, Washington in 1959.Adell married Larry L. Rauch July 25, 1959, in Sedro Woolley.She was a homemaker - raising 4 kids.She belonged to Tuesday Wonders Bowling League at Hi-Joy in Port Orchard as well as other leagues in other towns. Adell sewed clothes for family members and made dolls which she crocheted clothes for. She enjoyed trying new crafts and usually became very successful at them. Adell was an excellent cook, making the best pepper steak and gravy and potato salad and was an avid shopper.Adell was a member of the Christian Faith.She is survived by her husband Larry Rauch, of Port Orchard; step-dad, George Ross, of Mt. Vernon, Washington; sons - Steve Rauch (& wife, Debbie) of Port Orchard, and Scott Rauch (& wife, Tina) of Port Orchard; daughters - Shelly Garcia (& husband, Gary) of Port Orchard, and Lisa Payne (& husband, Todd) of Bremerton, Washington; brother - Verell Allen of Mt. Vernon, Washington; sisters - Joyce Greenough of Mt. Vernon, and Loyce Galovin of Kelso, Washington; 13 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister - Doris.A funeral service will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2003.Interment will be held at Sunset Lane Memorial Park.Memorial donations may be made to:Group Health HospiceGroup Health Foundation521 Wall St.Seattle, WA 98121
