Aggie D. Cline, 84, died at her home in Port Orchard on August 29, 2005. She was born July 30, 1921 in Retsil, Washington to John & Emma (Laeder) Murphy. She graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1939. Aggie married Les L. Cline on July 11, 1964 in Port Orchard. Aggie worked for the Kitsap County Sheriff's Department for 23 years, retiring in 1964. She was hired as the first female Deputy Sheriff in Kitsap County by then Sheriff Fred Vetters. She continued her employment with Kitsap County government for 14 more years after retiring from the Sheriff's Department. She was a life long member of the Lady Eagles in Port Orchard. Aggie loved knitting, sewing, crocheting & reading; and was an avid bowler and sports fan. Surviving are her husband Les; son Larry (Carol) Bertholf of Port Orchard; daughter Robin Hall of Port Orchard; grandchildren David Bertholf, Tina Hash, Aleada Gestiada & Jovita Gestiada; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death sy son Ellis Cline, an aunt, and 2 uncles. Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 11:00am at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard. Interment will be at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard.
