Agnes Dreessen of Port Orchard, Washington died November 24, 2004 in Port Orchard. She was 89. She was born March 26, 1915 in George, Iowa to Everette and Etta (Janssen) Tutje. She married Ervin Dreessen April 7, 1936 at Sibley, Iowa. He died March 22, 1995. Agnes attended school at Wilson #1, in Allendorf, Iowa. She was a homemaker. Agnes was a Christian. Agnes is survived by sons - Herman Dreessen (& wife, Barbara) of Snohomish, Washington, Marvin Dreessen (& wife, Donna) of Port Orchard, Washington, Dale Dreessen (& wife, Darlene) of Luverne, Minnesota, Gary Dreessen (& wife, Yvonne) of Orting, Washington; daughters - Lorraine Crouch of Flandreau, South Dakota, Dianne Thompson (& husband, Leroy) of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; brother-in-laws - Arthur Starkenburg, Melvin Dreessen (& wife, Mildred) of Canon City, Colorado; sister - Loretta Wienrank of Sanborn, Iowa; sisters-in-law - Marie Roos and Elsie Stachour (& husband, Donald) of Sibley, Iowa; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great/great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband - Ervin; her parents; 5 brothers (2 in infancy), Chris, Simon & Evert; 2 sisters - Elizabeth Starkenburg and Jennie Funk; daughter-in-law Trudy Dreesse and Son-in-law Jack Crouch. Visitation will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington on Monday, November 29, 2004 from 12 noon - 3:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center on Monday, November 29, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. Additionally, another funeral service will be held Saturday, December 4, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Engebretson Funeral Home in Luverne, Minnesota. Interment will follow this service.
