Agnes Nobriga

Agnes E. "Nina" Nobriga, 80, died September 3, 2002 at Ridgemont Terrace, in Port Orchard, Wa. She was born May 6, 1922 to John & Jane (deMattos) Ornellas in Paia, Maui, Hawaii. On June 12, 1948 She married John Nobriga in Paia. They resided in Maui, Hawaii until 1995 when they moved to Washington.Agnes was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church. She was in McCormick Woods Gardening and the Republican Womens. She enjoyed Mariners Baseball, music and playing the Ukelele as well as her special times with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband John Nobriga; Sons-John of Lake Oswego, Or and Gary of Port Orchard, Wa; Daughters-Linda Bradshaw of Port Orchard, Wa and Jessica Mansfield of Campbell, Ca; Brothers-Alvin & Walter Ornellas of Wailuku, Maui, Ha, Robert Ornellas of Edmonds, Wa, and Donald Ornellas of California. A Sister Genny Gouveia of Wailuku, Maui, Ha., 5 Grandchildren-Catherine Porter, Stephen Dorr, Daniel & Darren Nobriga, and Denise Grapes. 5 Great Grandchildren-McKenzie & Hunter Dorr, Zachary & Johnathan Porter and Taryn Grapes.Public viewing will be 9am at St. Gabriel Catholic Church on Friday, September 6th. The Funeral Mass will follow at 10am. Interment will take place at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard. Memorials acn be sent to Hospice of Kitsap County, PO Box 3416, Silverdale, Wa 98383.
