Akiko Tefft

Akiko Tefft, 67 of Port Orchard, Washington died at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington on April 22, 2001. She was born on January 17, 1934 in Osaka, Japan to Oshio-Chizumaro & Oshio-Kesami. Akiko married Hugh Tefft on January 30, 1976 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death in 1993.Mrs. Tefft was educated in Japan and worked as an Insulator at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton. She loved animals and her family.Surviving are her daughter Akemi of Port Orchard and grandson Aaron (Katie) Bidewell of Puyallup. She was preceded in death by brother Corky Oshiro and sister Toshiko Hendricks.Funeral Service will be held at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard on Friday, April 27, 2001 at 11:00am with interment following at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard.
