Albert Lee Baston of Port Orchard, Washington died at the family home on December 26, 2004 due to complications from heart problems. He died peacefully. Albert was 49. He was born December 8, 1955 in Denver, Colorado to Robert E. and Wanda Jean (Bundren) Baston. Albert married Rochelle (Mitchell) Baston February 14, 1992 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He graduated from Arvada High School in Arvada, Colorado in 1973 (school name is not known); and, attended Johnson and Wales University. Albert served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years from 1975 to 1995. He attained E-6 MS1 (Mess Specialist)Submarine Service. He worked at various Bachelor Enlisted Quarters in Management; served as a cook at various duty stations, last sea service was on board USS Tautog. He retired in 1995. He also worked in the Mail Distribution Center in Kent, Washington for the United States Postal Service for 6 years. He loved bowling, video games, shooting at the range (hand gun), horse shoes, cooking and baking and cake decorating. Albert Was a member of the Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife - Rochelle (Mitchell) Baston of the Port Orchard, Washington family home; father - Robert E. Baston of Arvada, Colorado; daughter - KiaMarie Keilani Baston; sister - Imo Collar (Andy) of Maine. Visitations will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington on Thursday, December 30, 2004 from noon - 5:00 p.m. and on Friday, December 31, 2004 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center on Monday, January 3, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington on Monday, January 3, 2005 at 1:00 p.m.
