Albert (Al) D. White, Jr. passed peacefully on Christmas Eve at the University of Washington Medical Center, Seattle, after suffering prolonged illnesses. He was born in Bremerton to Albert D. and Monica A. White. He Graduated from West Bremerton High in 1968. In 1973 he married Vickie Stephens of Hemple, Missouri. They made the Port Orchard area their home for the past 35 years. Al dedicated his working career to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard as a Rigger Mechanic, he retired in 2004. Al enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, bowling and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed supporting the Kitsap County 4H program and was a member of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church. "AD" is survived by his wife Vickie, daughter Jessica and son Kevin all of Port Orchard. Brothers Tony (Val) Port Angeles, Richard (Sheri) Bremerton, David (Robbi) Poulsbo, and sister Juanita (Luis) Talavera, Bremerton, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother Donald and nephew Eric. The family would like to thank the staff of the University of Washington Medical Center, Harrison Medical Center and with special gratitude to Dr. Pankja Sharma, Dr. Ronald Reimer and their staffs. Visitation at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard December 30th from 2–7pm and at 9:30am on December 31st at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Port Orchard with a Rosary at 10am. Funeral Mass will begin at 11am and burial will follow at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bremerton.
