Alf Ingves Aug. 6, 1934 - Dec. 13, 2014 PORT ORCHARD, WA. - Alf Ingves, 80, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2014 at his home in Port Orchard Washington. He was born on August 6, 1934 to Frans and Fanny (Etelatalo) Ingves in Skaftung, Finland and grew up in the Plainfield area. Alf served in the United States Army and worked in various government shipyards. He is survived by his sister, Mildred Ladhe, daughters and their husbands Lorie and Paul Dillon, Mariann and Donald LaPointe, three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Two nephews Rainer Ingves and Glen Ingves. Close friends Alf considered family Ami Drake and Kiya Lamphere, and many more. He was predeceased by his brother Rainer Ingves. Alf enjoyed his home and property, especially when given the opportunity to share it with people. Alf always had a knack for the farm life. He loved his tractor, gardening , raising all sorts of livestock, and most of all his beloved dogs, especially Rufus.
A Celebration of Life will be held January 24th at 1:00 pm at Associated Club of Waterman located at 5785 Hillcrest Road in Port Orchard.
