Alfred Perry

Alfred J. Perry, Age: 88, resident of Belfair, Washington, died on September 26, 2001. He had been born on May 6, 1913, in Centerville, California to Manual and Rose (Cunha) Perry.Mr. Perry attended Washington Union High School in Fremont, California. He was an Assembly Line Worker for General Motors in Oakland, California for twenty five years.He was a member of Native Sons of California, and the Loyal Order of Moose in Newark, California. He attended Saint Edwards Catholic Church in Newark, California, and Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Belfair, Washington.Mr. Perry is survived by his daughter, Marlene Stratton of Belfair; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard and Edward Perry.Arrangements are under direction of Rill Chapel, Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home in Port Orchard, Washington, and Berge-Pappas-Smith Mortuary in Fremont, California. A Catholic Funeral service will be held in California, followed by interment at Holy Spirit Cemetery in Newark, California. Funeral arrangement date and time is currently pending.
