Alice Elliott

Alice L. Elliott, 86, died at her home in Port Orchard, Washington on November 6, 1999.  She was born in Hooshier, Kansas on May 10, 1913 to William & Myrtle (Davidson) Ghramm.  Alice was raised in Dexter, Kansas graduating from Dexter High School in 1929.  She married William D. Elliott in Newkirk, Oklahoma on August 11, 1930.Mrs. Elliott was a member of Eastern Star and the Elks.  She was involved for many years with Sparklers Majorette Corps and Drum Sparks, Drum Corps Youth Group in Sunnyvale, California.  She was know as 'Nana' to the youth.Surviving are her daughters Rita L. Hawn & Judith Arnett, both of Port Orchard, Washington; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.  She was preceded in death by husband William, daughter Imogene Silvera, and 2 grandchildren.A Funeral Service will be held November 10, 1999 at 2:00 PM at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard.  Interment will be at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Fremont, California on November 12, 1999 following a service there at 2:00 PM.
