Alma DeLong, 82 of Port Orchard, died at St. Anthony's in Gig Harbor March 10, 2013. She was born October 13, 1930 in Hague, ND to Henry & Katherine (Wangler) Feist. She attended Catholic School in Yakima, WA. Alma married John Ellis DeLong on August 18, 1950 in Grandview, WA and he preceded her in death in 1997.
Alma was a homemaker and loved her dogs “Ricky” and “Lucy” (she even had red hair!).
Surviving are children Kathleen (Chane) Mattoon, Diana (Martin) Hall, Mike, Bob (Cinda), Gary & Jerry (Debbie) DeLong, and Kathy (Jim) O’Hair; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and sister Mary Snell.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Rill’s Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard. Inurnment will follow at Sunset Lane Memorial Park, also in Port Orchard. A memorial webpage can be accessed at www.rill.com
