Alvina Sizemore, 78, died at her home in Port Orchard surrounded by loved ones on June 1, 2010. She was born November 8, 1931 in Glencross, SD to Peter & Mary (Senger) Ripplinger. She moved to Yakima at age 9 and then to Bremerton in 1951. From 1955 she lived the rest of her life in Port Orchard. She married Ludwig Urlacher in 1950 in Yakima, WA and he preceded her in death in 1969. Alvina married Taylor Sizemore on June 17, 1972 in Port Orchard. Alvina was a homemaker who enjoyed camping, gardening, traveling and spending time with her family. Surviving are husband Taylor; sons Peter (Jerrine) Urlacher of Spokane, WA and Roger Dale (Tina) Urlacher of Shelton; daughters Cheryl (Walt) Archer of Gig Harbor and Gloria (Bob) Hamilton of Olalla; brothers Peter (Elanor) Ripplinger of Auburn, WA, Charles (Carol) Ripplinger of Midland, TX & Paul (Merilee) Ripplinger of Selah, WA; sisters Helen Hauck of Palm Springs, CA, Bernice Bitz & Johanna Russell, both of Yakima, WA, Irene Mullins of Federal Way, WA; stepchildren Steven (Traci) Sizemore and Debra (David) Gregerson, both of Port Orchard; 23 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sons Theodore & Charles Urlacher, daughter Christine Smedley, and stepson Lenard Sizemore. Celebration of Life Service at 2:00pm on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard followed by burial at Sunset Lane Memorial Park.
