Alyce Wernet

Alyce Lyn Wernet was born September 24, 1945 in Seattle, WA to George and Mildred Hartley.  She was raised in Bremerton, WA where she graduated from East Bremerton High School.  Lyn was a homemaker, she also coordinated the South Kitsap Haunted House for 10 years, was a volunteer with Project Family and a member of the South Kitsap Presbyterian Church.  Lyn is survived by her husband, Gary, her son Michael Stengle, step sons Michael Wernet, Todd Wernet, daughters Tracy Williamson, Jody Traxler, step daughter Mardell Blevens, and 10 grandchildren.  Donations may be made to the Children's Home Society of Washington, 201 S. 34th St., Tacoma, WA.  Services will be held at South Kitsap Presbyterian Church in Port Orchard, WA. Dec. 9, 1998 at 12 noon.  Arrangements were handled by Pendleton Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.
