Angela C. Offen of Belfair, Washington died January 29, 2005 in Belfair. She was a victim of a homicide. She was 22. She was born June 4, 1982 at RAF Lakenheath England to Rich and Laura (Curtis) Offen. In 2000, she graduated from Olympic High School and was later on the dean's list at Olympic College, where she earned an associate in arts degree in 2004. She worked four years at Group Health Cooperative in Poulsbo as a patient accounts representative. She enjoyed off-roading, camping, hiking and her cat, Oscar. Also killed January 29,in their home was her fiance, 23-year-old Matthew "Matt" D. Saunders. Ms. Offen is survived by her mother, Laura (Curtis) Offen of Port Orchard and father, Rich offen, and step-mother, Jody Offen of Virginia. Other survivors include her brother, Bryan Offen and stepbrother, Kyle Fisher, and her grandparents, Mary Ware of Sun City, Florida, Ralph Gibbons of Ambridge, Pennsylvania, Carol and Charles Boumiea of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, and Ron Curtis of Wetmore, Michigan. A memorial service for Offen and sanders will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.
