Ann Benedict

Ann Cecilia Teresa Benedict, 64 of Port Orchard, passed away April 29, 2009 after an extended illness.  She was born October 23, 1944  in Richwood, West Virginia to Vernal & Cecilia Jane Johnson. Ann resided primarily in the Port Orchard Area.  Her passion in life included arts & crafts and sewing & collectibles.  She was dedicated to her children and grandchildren. Surviving are her husband Lyle of 28 years; daughters Lisa (Kirk) Ford, Lori (Steve) Wiltz, both of Port Orchard, Angela (Scott) Auterson of Lake Charles, LA; brothers Charles (Val) Johnson and Dennis (Michelle) Johnson, both of Port Orchard; sister Charlotte (Tim) Taylor of Kinder, LA; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Memorial service at 1:00pm on Wednesday, May 6, 2007 at St. Bede's Episcopal Church in Port Orchard with burial following at Sunset Lane Memorial Park at 3:00 pm.
