Huebert passed away on October 3, 1999 surrounded by her children.  The visits by her grandchildren and friends meant a great deal to her as she moved gracefully into 'Life Everlasting'.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry D. Huebert, her parents, two brother and one sister.  Donations may be made in her name to the Organ Pipe Fund at St. Gabriel Church in Port Orchard, WA.She was born February 9, 1918 in Topeka, Kansas to Madglena & John Kuhn, Russian immigrants.  She grew up in Denver, Colorado and met her life long partner, Henry D. Huebert in Fairplay, Colorado where they were married on January 24, 1937.  Anna enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, crafts, animals, flowers, music and traveling to the mid-west frequently and the desert.  She played the Harmonica in her quiet time.  She was a member of Kitsap Dairy Wives, Olalla Grange, Kansas Club, Long Lake Community Club and St. Gabriel Church.Henry D. Huebert preceded her in death on November 4, 1993, surrounded by his family.  Henry was born April 25, 1909 in Newton, Kansas to John & Mary Huebert where he grew up.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.  He worked the gold mines of Colorado where he met Anna at the Hand Hotel/Retaurant.  He was a member of Harper Evangelical Free Church, Olalla Grange, Long Lake Community Club, Kitsap Dairyman's Association and Kansas Club.  He enjoyed gardening, traveling to the mid-west, the desert and especially his gentleman's cattle farm at Long Lake.They are survived by sons Henry Huebert, Jr. and Robert J. Huebert, both of Port Orchard; daughter Katherine (Huebert) Sandness of Wrangell, Alaska; 7 grandchildren:  David D. Huebert, Michael C. Huebert, Susan D. (Huebert) Nelson, Jon H. Huebert, Kimberly (Huebert) Thompson, Lorinda (Huebert) Ludlow, and Kristen Huebert; 7 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.Anna was survived by siblings Helen Kuhn, Mary Nooning, and Frank Kuhn of Denver, Colorado.  Henry was survived by Sibling Anna Huebert of Newton, Kansas.Henry and Anna lived in Fairplay and Idaho Springs, Colorado where their two sons were born.  In 1941 they moved to Bremerton and later settled on the family farm at Long Lake joined by a daughter.  They lived and raised their family at Long Lake for the next 52 years both operating and working on their dairy farm from 1945 until 1969.  Henry worked at Manchester fuel Depot, a local housing project, and a sawmill before serving 20 years at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard as a Pipefitter.  In his later years he raised beef (feeder cattle) on the farm.  Funeral Services were held at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard on November 11, 1993 at 11:00 am.  Memorials were made to Children's Hospital in Seattle, WA.
