Anna Marvin

December 23, 1930 — September 27, 2003

Anna H. Marvin of Port Orchard, Washington passed over at the age of 72 on September 27, 2003 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.She was born in Athens, Greece in 1930. In 1961 she was widowed with 3 children. In 1963 she married Dr. Roger T. Marvin and moved to Port Orchard, Washington where she spent the rest of her life.The "Greek" loved her family, especially her children and was completely devoted to her four grandchildren who were all with their "Yiayia" at her bedside at the time of her passing.Anna was a big sports fan who followed the Mariners. One of her daughters graduated from the University of Washington, and the other daughter graduated from Washington State, and Anna continued to follow the Huskies and the Cougars her entire life.Anna touched everyone who knew her with her kind and gentle spirit and her loving and generous heart. She will be missed deeply by all.She was preceded in death by her mother and father, and her first-born son, George.She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Dr. Roger T. Marvin of Port Orchard; her brother Costas Somponis of Athens, Greece; her oldest daughter Angela Ledington-Fischer, of Wailua, Hawaii; her second son, Robert Marvin of King Salmon, Alaska; and her second daughter, Barbara Kaeser of Sultan, Washington. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Nicholas Roger Marvin age 14; Annaliese Marie Ledington-Fischer age 13; Sophia Elizabeth Kaeser age 6; and Alexandra Georgiana Kaeser age 4.We ask that you please send donations to:Children's Hospital, P.O.
