Anna M Shepherd

Passed away on July 7th, 2015 at the age of 90. Anna Shepherd (Rogstad) was born in Lostwood, North Dakota on November 9, 1924. She married Floyd Shepherd December.13, 1943 in Sidney, Montana. They were together for 52 years until his passing in 1995. They lived in Stanley & Tioga North Dakota until they moved to Port Orchard in 1965. .

She went to a small country school in Lostwood, ND and attended high school in Stanley, ND.
In her younger years she work in a creamery in Stanley and later years organizing greeting cards in various stores in Port Orchard, WA. She was a quiet person that loved to have family and friends around. She loved to quilt, read, do puzzles, play cards and watch TV. She was a past member of the Port Orchard TOPS club. She was a member of the 1st Lutheran church since 1965.

She was preceded in death by her 5 siblings. She leaves behind 3 children, Richard (Sandi) Shepherd of Port Orchard, WA, Betty Shepherd of Port Orchard, Joanne (Greg) Thompson of Thornton, Colorado; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; plus numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of her life will be on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 11:00 am at First Lutheran Community Church in Port Orchard, WA.
