Annetta Marie Guthrie, 66, died at her home in Olalla, Washington on May 19, 2000. She was born in Corvalis, Oregon on February 12, 1934 to Louis & Marie (Vogelman) Howser. She graduated from Queen of Angels High School in Port Angeles, Washington. Annetta married Ray J. Guthrie in 1954 in Bainbridge, Maryland.Mrs. Guthrie worked for 20 years as a Computer Operator for Southard, Beckham, Atwater, & Berry in Port Orchard, retiring in 1996. She also served for 2 years in the U. S. Navy. She loved computers and traveling with her husband on cruises. Mrs. Guthrie was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Gig Harbor, Washington.Surviving are her husband Ray of Olalla; son Michael Guthrie of Cypress, California; daughters Jeanne Haney of Milton-Freewater, Oregon and Eileen Hurlbert of Gulfport, Mississippi; sister Jean Olson of Gig Harbor; and 4 grandchildren.Memorial Mass will be Monday, May 22, 2000 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Gig Harbor at 11:00am. Interment is at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard. Memorial Donations may be made to St. Nicholas Catholic Church, P. O. Box 220, Gig Harbor, WA 98335.
