Mr. Anthony Hannan, Age: 67, resident of Allyn, Washington died of cancer on November 17,2001 at Harrison Hospital in Bremerton, Washington.He had been born on July 30, 1934 in Maple Park, Illinois to Thomas and Mary(Halligan) Hannan.Anthony attended West High School in Bremerton. On January 5, 1957 he married Regina A.Beauchamp in Bremerton. He served in the United States Coast Guard from 1952 until 1956. Mr. Hannan was a General Foreman Shipfitter at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, for thirty eight years, retiring in 1989. He then took up a career as a Barber.Mr. Hannan was a member of the Bremerton V.F.W., and Poggie Club of Bremerton. He attended Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Belfair, Washington.Mr. Hannan is survived by his wife, Regina, of the family home; sons, John of Belfair; Jeffrey of Birmingham, Alabama; Daniel and Joseph of Seattle, Washington; daughter, Meg Babcock of Cheyenne, Wyoming; two sisters, Margaret Waltenburg of Port Angeles, Washington; Mary Ellen Arrington of Bremerton; and thirteen grandchildren.Memorial donations may be made to the Tony Hannan Memorial Scholarship Fund, Post Office Box 517, Belfair, Washington, 98528.A Memorial Mass will be held for Mr. Hannan at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Belfair, on Friday, 11-23-2001 at 11:00 A.M.. Fathers Victor Cloquet and Jerry McCloskey will be officiating.All arrangements are under direction of Rill Chapel, Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home and Crematory.
