Mr. Archie R. Page, Age: 76, resident of Port Orchard, Washington, died at his residence on November 9, 2001.He had been born on June 28, 1925 in Orchards, Washington to Lester and Sadie(Harbison)Page.On October 11, 1943, Mr. Page joined the Army of the United States from Fort Douglas, Utah. He served his country honorably until his discharge on March 3, 1946. During his enlistment he received the American Theater Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the Victory Medal.On September 18, 1948, Archie married Beverly Coleman at the Harper 7th Day Adventist Church, in Harper, Washington.He was an Electrical Contractor in the local area for a number of years, retiring as an Electronics Technician in 1988 from Naval Subase at Keyport.Archie enjoyed hiking in the Olympic Mountains and traveling. He is a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church in Port Orchard.Survivors include Archie's wife, Beverly, of the family home; sons Jerry and Kerry Page of Port Orchard; daughters Archalene O'Bosky and Candy Mannahan, of Port Orchard; and Tammy Brear of Shelton, Washington; sister, Cleta Iverson of Salem, Oregon; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, James, and a brother, Elvin Page.Visitation for Mr. Page is scheduled at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard for November 13, 14 and 15th, from 9:00 a.m. until 5 p.m., and also on Wednesday, November 14th, 2001 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, November 17, 2001 at 3:00 p.m., at 7th Day Adventist Church in Port Orchard. Pastor Doug Sharp will be officiating.Inurnment will be held at Sedgwick Cemetery for family only.Memorial donations may be made to Providence Sound Home Care and Hospice, 2146 Railroad Avenue, Shelton, Washington 98584; and/or to the ''Building Fund'', 7th Day Adventist Church, Post Office Box 165, Port Orchard, Washington 98366.All arrangements are under direction of Rill Chapel, Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home and Crematory.
