Arlene Marie Kuhns

Arlene Marie Kuhns of Seabeck, Washington passed away on Tuesday, June 14th, 2022 at St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale. She was born in March of 1935 to Marion and Vivian Gauntlett of Seattle. Arlene graduated from Bellevue High School in 1952 and on October 11th, 1952 she married her high school sweetheart, David Guy Kuhns. Together they raised 6 children.

In 1977, Arlene and Guy moved from Bellevue to Port Orchard. Arlene was a bookkeeper. She started her own business called Tally & Scribe. She finished her career working with Tom Higgins and his accounting firm.

Arlene enjoyed camping with Guy in their motorhome and kept busy with lots of home and garden projects. She was quite talented. However, her greatest passion was her personal walk with the Lord. She wanted to share everything she could about Jesus, and she was always available to counsel any member of the family who might be in need. She was our family prayer warrior.

Arlene was preceded in death by her husband Guy, her father Marion, her mother Vivian, and her sister Sylvia. She is survived by her daughter Susan (Ron) of Goodyear, AZ, her daughter Terry (Dan) of Scottsdale, AZ, her son Rick (Jill) of Redmond, WA, her daughter Linda (Scott) of Tonasket, WA, her daughter Sandra (David) of Seabeck, WA, and her son Larry (Michelle) of Buckley, WA. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews, all who loved her.
