Arlene Watson

Arlene Faye (Speer) Watson 73, a lifelong Port Orchard resident, passed away Wednesday morning July 18, 2012 at her home, due to natural causes.  Arlene was born in Timber Lake, South Dakota on August 10, 1938.  She arrived in Annapolis with 7 siblings and her Parents Lee and Ruby Speer Dec. 7, 1941.  She attended schools in South Kitsap, graduating in 1956.  She worked for Kitsap County for 25 years, retiring in 1995. Arlene is survived by her sister Winifred Gail of Grapeland, TX; children Kathy Cloninger, Cheryl Snyder, Richard Watson, Dale Watson & Connie Zuber; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 28th at the annual Speer family reunion in Olympia.  Please make any donations to South Kitsap Helpline.
