Arlond Lee Goodwin

Arlond Lee Goodwin was born in Independence, Missouri on October 21, 1947, and passed away in Gig Harbor, WA on March 28, 2025. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Theresa and their three daughters, Lisa Goodwin Deisler, Lynae Goodwin Jackson and Leann Goodwin Simpson. He later married his second wife, Sharon, who also preceded him in passing.

Arlond graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1966. After graduation he served in the US Navy for 8 years, and was stationed in Charleston, SC, Scotland and Alameda, CA. When he returned to his home town of Port Orchard, he became a diesel mechanic and then opened his own business, "Arlond's Mobile Service," and served the Port Orchard and surrounding areas until his health declined.

Arlond loved nothing more than a big party at his home, a fishing and camping trip with his brothers and friends, digging for clams at the ocean, his pool league, taking his motor home and going camping with his, "Eagle's" family. He also had a love of music and watching sci-fi movies.

Arlond is survived by his brothers, Billy Goodwin (Teri) and Aaron Goodwin (Lynn); step-father, Damon (Sonny) Bracamontes; sister-in-law, Jolene Bratcher; grandchildren, Dalton Deisler, Kyra Jackson, Noah Jackson, Skyler Simpson, Kenadee Simpson; step-sons, Josh Sewell and Derek Rae; step-daughters, Tami Dame, Teri Tuttle and Tonya Hastings, and numerous step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his life-long and loyal friends. A special thank you to Steve Krecker who helped until the end.
