Arlys Hewitt

Arlys L. Hewitt, 74 of Lynnwood, Washington, died at Stevens Hospital in Edmonds on January 20, 2000.  She was born in Badger, Minnesota on May 25, 1925 to Elmer & Selma (Severson) Setran.  She graduated from Badger High School in 1943.  Arlys worked for 22 years as a Secretary for Elim Lutheran Church in Port Orchard, retiring in 1990.  She was a member of Elim Lutheran Church and also volunteered in a local nursing home.Surviving are son Douglas Hewitt of Lynnwood, Washington; brothers Wilmer Setran of Seattle, Washington, Conrad Setran of St. Paul, Minnesota, Donald Setran of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Harold Setran of Lynnwood, Washington, and Richard Setran of Omaha, Nebraska; sisters Delores Kunz of St. Paul, Minnesota, Lois Setran of Gig Harbor, Washington, and Joanne Haugen of Lynnwood, Washington; grandson Douglas Doble of Port Angeles, Washington; and 2 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by daughter Renae Doble, granddaughter Christine Doble, brother George Setran, and sister Gladyce Wilken.Visitation will be at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard on Tuesday, January 25th from noon to 5PM and Wednesday, January 26th one hour before the service.  Funeral Service at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 26, 2000 at Elim Lutheran Church in Port Orchard.  Interment will be at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard.
