Arnold William Strom

Arnold William Strom, 85, of Belfair, died March 15, 2015 at his residence. Arnold was born December 29, 1929 in Crookston, Minnesota to Melvin & Mildred Strom. He was a Korean War Combat Veteran in the U.S. Marine Corp. On May 12, 1960 he married Sylvia Elaine Ingebretson in Seattle. Arnold worked in concrete construction and was in business with his brother at Southcenter Iron retiring in 1991. Arnold loved to fish & hunt and enjoyed watching baseball. He is survived by a daughter – Kristie (Rick) Williamson, a son – Gary Strom, two brothers – Earl (Marilyn) Strom & Howard (Carol) Strom, two sisters – Judy (Roland) Boucher & Lorraine Bahan, two granddaughters – Abby & Libby and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a brother – James. Family, respect and history were all very important to Arnie. To honor that, we would like memorials sent to the old country cemetery where his parents are buried. It is maintained and preserved by volunteers and donations.
