Audrey Jones

Audrey Marion Jones, 65, a longtime resident of Port Orchard, Washington passed away June 17, 2005. Audrey was born of David and Sarah Gillis in Spring Hill Nova Scotia on March 12, 1940. There she was raised in a devout catholic family, the daughter of a coal miner and homemaker. She later moved to Edmonton, Alberta where she grew up. It was in June of 1961 that Audrey met the love of her life in Hawaii, Varro Hyrum Jones, and spent the rest of his life with him, and then the rest of her life with him, as well. 21 years together in life and then 22 years in spirit. Now they are together again in peace. Audrey is survived by her children Trevor, Robert & Cameron; her siblings Kay, Joan & Jimmy; and her grandchild Spencer. She was loved and will be missed by all. Family and friends are invited to memorial services at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard on Monday, June 27, 2005 at 3:00 pm. A reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory either to the American Cancer Socity or the American Diabetes Society.
