Barbara Gallagher

Barbara Jean Gallagher of Port Orchard, Washington died February 12, 2004 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington. She was 59. She was born October 15, 1944 in Bremerton, Washington to Leonora Babcock (Ecklund) and Vern Babcock. She married James V. Gallagher May 5, 1977. Barbara graduated from East Bremerton High School in Bremerton, Washington in 1962. She was a long time employee of Seafirst Bank (now Bank of America). She worked 36 years - retiring in 2000. Barbara enjoyed gardening, traveling, spending time with the grandkids, and entertaining. She was Catholic. Barbara is survived by husband - James V. Gallagher of the Port Orchard, Washington family home; son - Bryan Gallagher (& wife, Kellie) of Port Orchard, Washington, John Gallagher of Port Orchard, Washington; daughter - Kathy Danubio of Port Orchard, Washington; sister - Dianne Van Fossen (& husband, Jerry); nephew - Alan Van Fossen; nieces - Amy Van Fossen and Angela Cox; 5 grandchildren (Justin, Lauryn and Colin Gallagher and Shaw and Karissa Danubio). She was preceded in death by son - Mike Gallagher. A memorial service will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington on Friday, February 20, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial Donations may be made to Hospice of Kitsap County P.O.
