Barb also adored her four-legged friends; Kali her Yorkshire Terrier and two cats Sadie and Luna.

Barb was a Licensed Practical Nurse working for Pediatrician “Dr. Ann” Pearson in Springfield, IL later working at Memorial Medical Center in the Newborn Nursery/Mother-Baby Unit for many years. Barb could rock a baby to sleep like no other, she had such a gentle touch that would leave parents astounded. Barb was a caregiver to many over the years but taking care of her mother for multiple years was an honor that she embraced. Barb was an amazing craftswoman. There wasn’t anything she couldn’t do behind the pedal of a sewing machine, she would design without patterns and accomplish the most beautiful works of art. Her most recent project was making Mooring Covers for sailboats which she helped to design for clients specific to their boats. Most importantly Barb was a follower of Christ, she became a Born-again Christian at an early age and walked in the ways of Jesus.
