Barry was born in Seattle July 2nd, 1936. He had the good fortune of taking pleasure in all the activities available that growing up on Lake Washington afforded him… His favorite was water skiing.
He graduated from Army-Navy Academy in Carlsbad, California in 1955, then attended Seattle University.
On January 3rd, 1964, he married Mary Beth.
Barry, Jr. and Brad are their two sons.
He loved the outdoors. He liked long walks with his family and dogs; motor home trips to see America, especially our magnificent national parks. He often revisited the Taweel Lakes fishing camp, remotely located in the resplendent Canadian Rockies, But his favorite trips of all, were those taken to watch the Washington Huskies both locally, and on the road. Husky football was a family tradition beginning with his Dad who played for Washington in 1915.
He looked forward to gatherings with family and friends. He especially looked forward to Christmas.
All of his Life, he loved caring for his beloved flowers.
We will miss him forever.
Mary Beth, Barry Jr, and Brad
