Benjamin "Ben" Robert Davis, 57, died at his home in Port Orchard, Washington on October 26, 2005. He was born on January 2, 1948 in Bremerton, Washington to Thomas Watts & Irene Bertha (Roulot) Davis. He graduated from North Mason High School in Belfair, Washington in 1966 and Olympic College in Bremerton, Washington with an Associate of Arts Degree in 1968. He married Carmen Deanna Husby on May 3, 1975 in Port Orchard. Ben worked as a Tool and Die Maker for 34 years at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, retiring in 2003. He served in the U.S. Army in 1968 as a Private. Ben enjoyed his small 12 acre farm, growing timber and vegetables, and his kids & grandkids. Surviving are his wife Carmen; sons Judson (Joni) Davis of New York & Port Orchard, and Kelly (Nancy) Davis of Columbia, South Carolina; daughters Melissa Davis of Eugene, Oregon and Heidi Carson of Bremerton; brothers Jim (Elaine) Davis, Stan (Soni) Davis, Mike (Becky) Davis of Belfair, Washington, and John (Judy) Davis of Kennan, Wisconsin; sisters Lora (Steve) Wood of Gig Harbor, Washington, Sharon (Rich) Hankinson, Peggy (Ken) Van Buskirk, Jackie (Ray) Mastel, and Marilyn Davis of Belfair. Memorial service will be Saturday, November 5, 2005 at 11:00 am at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard. A reception will follow at the Davis Farm in Belair.
