Bennie A. Jesfield of Belfair, Washington died April 2, 2003 at an adultcare home in Port Orchard, Washington. He was 93.He was born March 1, 1910 in Lodgepole, South Dakota to Austin and Christine (Enervold) Jesfield.He married Barbara Faith (Jennewein) Jesfield July 22, 1941 in Ollie, Montana.Bennie grew up ranching in Baker, Montana until 1950 when he became a carpenter. He was a contractor and carpenter in Billings, Montana and Belfair, Washington for 35 years - retiring in 1985.He enjoyed gardening, fishing and cooking.He was a Christian.Bennie was survived by sons - Jim Jesfield (and wife, Judy) of Belfair, Washington and LeRoy Jesfield (and wife, Wanda) of Fallbrook, California; daughters - Phyllis Page (and husband, Jerry) of Bremerton, Washington, Chris Wright of University Place, Washington, Sylvia Steen (and husband, Craig) of Darwin, Australia, Kandis McCandless (and husband, Art) of Belfair, Washington; sister - Austine Steen of Baker, Montana (91 years old); 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
