Bertha Kelly

Bertha "Thora" Kelly died of natural causes at Forest Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Bremerton, Washington November 4, 2003. She was 92. She was born July 26, 1911 in Charleston, Washington to Bert and Sara (Gudmundson) Gall. She married K.C. Kelly July 2, 1936 in San Diego, California. Bertha graduated from South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, Washington in 1930. She wa a homemaker; and, worked for 2 years as a beautician. Bertha was a member of Pleasant Valley Garden Club, PTA; was a den mother; helped write a portion of Kitsap County Historial Society Book. She was a Christian. Bertha is survived by her son - Bert Kelly (& wife, Helen) of Port Orchard, Washington; 2 grandchildren (Greg Kelly & wife, Louise of Silverdale, Washington, Eric Kelly of Port Orchard, Washington); 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death bh brother - George Gall. A Memorial Service was held at 2:00 p.m. November 15, 2003 at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center.
