Betty Lou Clarno was born October 14, 1930 and passed away March 29, 2024. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and had many wonderful friends.
Betty was born to Claude and Augusta Tuttle in Leavenworth, Washington where she resided until she married Ray Clarno in 1949. Ray and Betty lived in Coulee Dam together before moving to Port Orchard in 1950.
They had two daughters, Sharon (Ed) Gadberry and Nancy (Mike) Rummel. Six Grandchildren, twelve Great Grandchildren and four Great Great Grandchildren.
She went to Beauty School when Nancy started school and worked at Laura’s Beauty Salon in Port Orchard. Betty had many bobbies including being a 4-H Leader for 7 years and taking oil painting classes which led her to eventually teach oil painting classes.
With Ray by her side, they enjoyed RVing, golfing, boating, fishing, digging clams, prospecting for gold and watching their Grandchildren play sports.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Ray in 2014, her parents and Great Granddaughter, Faith Gurganious.
