Betty Lloyd

Mrs. Betty Lou Lloyd, Age: 76, resident of Bremerton, Washington, died in Poulsbo, Washington on December 25, 2001.Betty had been born on January 2, 1925 in Wenatchee, Washington, to Gordon and Grace(Kelly)McMillian. She attended Lincoln High School in Tacoma, and Tacoma Business College, graduating from both schools.On November 11, 1949, Betty married Robert G. Lloyd in Tacoma, Washington. She worked for the South Kitsap School District Food Services for twelve years, retiring in 1979.Betty loved dancing and swimming. She was a member of the Christian faith. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, in 1989.Survivors include a son, Greg Lloyd of Bremerton, a daughter, Sherryl Hawes of Bremerton; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to PAWS of Bremerton, Post Office Box 2235, Bremerton, Washington, 98310.A memorial service in her honor will be held on Friday, December 28, 2001 at 4:30 p.m., at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard. The Reverend Larry Mead will be officiating. Inurnment will be at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard.All arrangements are under direction of Rill Chapel, Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home and Crematory.
