Beverley Jean Miller died May 15, 2002 in Port Orchard, WA. She was 73. Beverley was born in Glenwood, Iowa on February 21, 1929 to Thorn and Ruby (McAlexander) Cheyney.She was married to Donald George Miller in Port Orchard, WA. July, 1948.Beverley graduated from South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, WA. in 1946.She was the former head cook at Orchard Heights Elementary School in Port Orchard, WA. for 8 years. She is a Life Time Member of T.C. Baldwin Orthopedic Guild for Children's Hospital in Seattle, former Den Mother for Cub Scouts, former Blue Bird and Camp Fire leader, and loved gardening and cooking and family.Beverley is survived by her daughter Theresa Collins of Mason Lake, WA., son Donald G. Miller, Jr. of Port Orchard, WA., Robert A. Miller of Port Orchard, WA., brother Thorn Cheyney of Seabeck, WA., brother Don Cheyney of Suquamish, WA., 6 grandchildren: Angela Miller, Ross Miller, Darren Miller, Chad Collins, Carrie Collins, Kevin Miller and 4 great-grandchildren: Estelle Howard, Evan Howard, Trenton Miller, Grace Collins.Memorial Services will be held at Rill Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 20, 2002.
