Beverly Gilson

Beverly Ann Gilson, 50, of Port Orchard, Washington, died May 10, 2001, in Port Orchard. She was born February 22, 1951, in Bremerton, Washington, to Richard and Gilberte (Blanc) Maxwell. Beverly graduated from South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard in 1969 and married Daren Gilsen in Bremerton on July 4, 1970. She then graduated from Fort Steilacoom Community College in 1982.Beverly has worked in merchandise display for the past 19 years. She enjoyed interior decorating and camping.Beverly is survived by her husband, Daren Gilson, of Port Orchard; her sons, Troy Gilson, of The Woodlands, Texas, and Tony Gilson, of Ollala, Washington; her mother and stepfather, Gilberte and Bud Groskopf, of Port Orchard; brothers Rich Maxwell, of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Lee Maxwell, of Port Orchard; sister, Teresa Maxwell, of Waterford, California; and 4 grandchildren.A Potluck Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Lee Maxell, 174 SW Lider Road, Port Orchard, on May 20, 2001, from 1PM to 5PM.
